IF YOU CAN COMPETE, THEN THE FOLLOWING RULES APPLY:
- An individual may join more than one team.
- All participants must disclose any conflict of interests you have with an employee of a Partner, employees and contractors of Go Code Colorado, the ColoradoSecretary of State, and the State of Colorado, competition judges, and competition advisors/mentors, and their immediate families (spouse, parents and step-parents, siblings and step-siblings, and children and step-children) and household members (people who share the same residence at least three (3) months out of the year).
- All programs associated with Go Code Colorado are subject to all applicable United States federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- By participating in Go Code Colorado, you agree to any and all Go CodeColorado rules and procedures and understand and agree that the applicable judges’ decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the Challenge.
- The receipt of an award or benefit is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth by Go Code Colorado, the Colorado Secretary of State, and the State of Colorado, including but not limited to, acceptance of its Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, waivers, and Services Agreement with the State of Colorado, if applicable.
- If you are one of the three winners, receipt of an award is contingent upon (1) the acceptance of a license granted by the Colorado Secretary of State with the opportunity for an assignment of that intellectual property after one (1) calendar year; (2) you are properly registered to do business in the State of Colorado; and (3) you expressly acknowledge that all intellectual property created as a result of participation in Go Code Colorado is the property of the Colorado Secretary of State.
- You understand and agree that you have no right, power, or authority to bind GoCode Colorado, the Colorado Secretary of State, and the State of Colorado to the fulfillment of any condition, contract, or obligation or to create any liability binding on Go Code Colorado, the Colorado Secretary of State, and the State of Colorado.
- By participating in the Go Code Colorado Challenge, you are not an employee of Go Code Colorado, the Colorado Secretary of State, or the State of Colorado.
